FM Liberman on attack on Paris supermarket Featured

The wave of terror attacks in Paris, most recently the terror attack on the kosher supermarket, is directed not only against the French people, not only against the Jews of France, but against the entire free world.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said that the wave of terror attacks in Paris, most recently the terror attack on the kosher supermarket, is directed not only against the French people, not only against the Jews of France, but against the entire free world. This is yet another attempt by the powers of darkness within radical Islam to inflict fear and terror on the West, and the entire international community must stand firm against this terrorism.

On Satuday evening (January 10), FM Liberman conducted an assessment of the situation with senior Foreign Ministry and security staff, with personnel of the Israel Embassy in Paris participating via satellite. They discussed security steps at Israel's missions, in coordination with the local authorities, in order to insure the safety and security of the Israeli representatives abroad. They also discussed issues relating to the Jewish community in France and other European countries.

FM Liberman will depart for Paris to attend the rally in the wake of the recent terror attacks. He will also visit the Jewish Agency aliyah information fair in Paris.
